The Voice UK star to perform home town gig in Hartlepool

The Voice UK star Rick Snowdon is returning to Hartlepool for a homecoming gig tonight.

The former BBC1 talent show contestant is hosting a free night of music which includes other North East contestants from this year’s The Voice UK.

Rick’s homecoming is expected to attract massive crowds at Monroe’s Bar at the Hillcarter Hotel on Church Street from 8.30pm tonight (16th July 2016).

The Hartlepool lad will be joined by fellow Voice stars Charley B and Melissa Cavanagh.

30-year-old Rick recently made his debut in the West End in Eugenius at the London Palladium.

He said: “Never in my wildest dreams did I think at the age of 30 I’d have my first performance in the West End. It just blows my mind that it was be at the iconic London Palladium alongside people like Warwick Davis and Brian Blessed.

“I really relish the chance to get to work with such talented and revered performers, and learn as much as I can from them. I wanted to provide a night of entertainment with my pals from The Voice as a celebration and thank you to the people of Hartlepool for their support.”
