Gary aiming to Wow even more businesses in 2017

A motivational coach who works with some of the region’s most established sports organisations and businesses has returned from eight weeks in India.

Gary Lavery from Peterlee was commissioned to deliver training seminars and coaching sessions to business people on the other side of the world.

And now the 38-year-old, whose business is Now to Wow, is using the knowledge he gained to grow his client portfolio at a local level.

Gary said: “Leaving my family behind for eight weeks was probably the hardest thing I have ever done but what an experience it was. I really did doubt whether I could do it so it was tough to stay focussed; it was certainly a challenge of mind over matter.

“The time away gave me a real chance to reflect on where I see Now to Wow going in the future, and I think it reinforced to me that I want to grow it locally and regionally.

“So the next challenge is to expand my client portfolio here in East Durham and the wider North East. I’ve already worked with some well-known businesses and organisations but there’s certainly scope to do more.”

Gary successfully became a Certified Trainer of NLP in 2014, after spending 30 days in Hua-Hin, Thailand, under extreme exam conditions – after which he turned a dream into reality.

NLP is best regarded as – ‘an instructional manual of the mind’ – that helps people create the best version of themselves.

It’s based upon a range of personal development techniques, which allows individuals to let go of their issues and become more accountable for their future results and behaviour by adopting a more proactive mindset.

Gary is now aiming to practice what he preaches by chasing his dream of expanding Now to Wow.

“I am planning on recruiting staff and taking the business to the next level,” he said. “I want to grow the business portfolio and do more public speaking to really get the message across that there are real benefits to NLP.

“I believe I am the proof that you can turn your dreams into reality, and if you believe in yourself then you can make anything happen in life.”
