Business Durham major sponsor of Durham Oktoberfest

Business Durham is once again GOLD sponsor of Durham Oktoberfest.

The organisation has been a main supporter of our event since it launched in 2008, when Sir John Hall was the inaugural keynote speaker.

Simon Goon, Managing Director at Business Durham, said: “Oktoberfest is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the diverse range and depth of talent, the outstanding competitiveness and the innovation of engineering and manufacturing businesses in our region.

“Business Durham has been a sponsor since the inaugural event ten years ago and have seen it grow each year, attracting some of the region’s biggest companies who want to promote their products and services to the hundreds of people who come through the doors.

“It is a proven platform to grow your business and we’re delighted to once again be gold sponsor.”

Ben Gilhespy, Operations Director of County Durham Engineering and Manufacturing Network (CDEMN), which organises Durham Oktoberfest, said: “Securing sponsors like Business Durham enables us to give even more back to the companies and people who make Oktoberfest the success it is. We wouldn’t be able to put on such a quality event without them.”
