A training and development specialist has expanded into bigger premises following the introduction of a new digital division.
KF Training, based at the Whitehouse Business Park in Peterlee, will run the new digital academy at its new base on the top floor of Whitehouse Point 2 as the company continues to go from strength to strength, driving innovative learning through digital inspiration and development.
The digital academy’s first two apprentices started in April, with two more new recruits joining the team in May.
Quality coordinator Stacey-Lee Pygall (pictured), who has been with KF Training since 2014 and started as an apprentice herself, said: “I love being in the new hub and it’s just great to see new apprentices coming in all the time.
“I’m proud that I was a part of this company’s growth and to see how much they continue to support young people in getting their first jobs through apprenticeships like the Digital Academy, makes me really happy.”
Kelly Lee, owner and managing director of KF Training, said: “It’s absolutely wonderful to finally have all of the team under one roof as our Digital Hub joins us from Sunderland.
“This has been our vision for over two years and to finally see it manifest into reality makes me so proud. The amazing things we have achieved as a team, and the results of the journey we have been on, makes all the hard work worth it.”
KF Training’s new office space boasts a training room that can seat up to 15 delegates and a meeting room for up to 8 people. Both rooms, as well as the new training facilities, are available for hire by other local companies.
Kelly added: “Anyone is welcome, so please feel free to contact the team on 0191 518 6830 should you wish to tour the office or make use of the new meeting rooms and training facilities.”
