On your marks as sport competition returns

The County Durham Workplace Games is a multi-sport competition aimed to encouraging people to keep fit.

Try your hand at an exciting array of summer sports challenges including cardio tennis, netball and archery. Put your team work to the test with an interactive treasure hunt challenge, Traditional Sport’s Day races and not forgetting a hog roast, entertainment and an award ceremony to close the evening.

The Workplace Games are suitable for people of all ages, genders and abilities and participants will get the opportunity to have a go at a variety of sports varying from ones they will know or remember to challenges which are new and exciting.

Each activity will be delivered by an experienced coach who will give people a taster of their sport or activity before the competition begins.

The multi-sport competition will be a great opportunity for staff team building, improving workplace morale, networking with like-minded businesses, as well as encouraging employees to try new things and get more active.

The County Durham Workplace Games will take place at Fyndoune Community School, Durham, on Friday, September 15, from 6.00- 9.30pm.

The team fee is £200 per team of 10 and includes food, beverages, team t shirts and event merchandise.
