Charity fun day to raise money for the homeless

Young group is hosting a charity fun day for the homeless

On Saturday, August 19, a charity fun day will take place from 12pm-2pm at East Durham College in the Impact Fitness Centre Sports Hall.

Entry is free but there will be opportunities to donate to the charity once in the venue.

Attractions such as a face painter, a bouncy castle and a mascot for photo opportunities will be available for children.

The group, who is hosting this as part of their NCS social action project, plan on raising money for homeless people and creating packs of the necessities needed for those living on the streets.
