Breakfast club open for armed forces members and veterans

An armed forces and veterans breakfast club is encouraging new members to join us.

The club meets every Saturday at the Five Quarter pub in Peterlee and gives people the chance to talk and share their own personal experiences.

There is no contribution to be a member with the only costs being for a cup of tea and food.

Rob Moore runs to the group. He said: “Our group is open to anyone serving in the armed forces, or veterans, from the East Durham area.

“It’s free and a great chance for people to chat and spend time with people who have been through similar experiences.”
