Grampian Court in Peterlee has been voted by residents and relatives as one of the top 20 recommended care homes in the North East in the carehome.co.uk awards 2018.
The care home comparison website has given recognition to Grampian Court based on reviews received from residents, their families and friends, demonstrating real life opinions and thoughts from those who use the home.
Grampian Court recently celebrated its first birthday with a country and western themed party, where its team really got into the spirit of the occasion, dressing up in their best cowboy attire. They have also created the Forget Me Not café to help residents and members of the community with dementia build up a support network. It provides the opportunity for individuals living with the condition to curb feelings of loneliness and isolation whilst meeting like-minded people and undertaking stimulating activities to aid relaxation.

Care company HC-One, which operates Grampion Court, is committed to providing the kindest care, which is shown by the company achieving a 9.2 out of ten average rating on the carehome.co.uk website, with Grampian Court itself achieving 9.9.
HC-One currently also has the highest compliance rating of all independent residential care home providers.
