Seaham company’s staff raise £1,900 for charity after GNR

Staff at Seaham company Great Annual Savings Group have raised almost £2,000 for charity.

Two team members, Liam Groves, team manager (Quality & Risk) and Jack Franks, communications and content advisor, competed in the Great North Run, raising £1,500 between them.

And Olivia Mingle, seven-year-old daughter of engagement manager Ricky Mingle, raised another £400 by taking part in the Junior Great North Run.

All money is being donated to the Heel and Toe Children’s Charity, one of the company chosen charities which it supports.

Judith Bennison is HR Director at Spectrum Business Park-based Great Annual Savings Group. She said: “A massive well done to Liam, Jack and Ricky’s daughter Olivia who took part in the Great North Run and Junior Great North Run last month, raising an impressive £1,900 for the Heel and Toe Children’s Charity.”
