Pupils bring festive cheer to Peterlee care home residents

Carol singing primary school pupils have been serenading care home residents in Peterlee.

Residents, family members and staff all enjoyed the performance before everyone was treated to chocolates, juice, tea and mince pies.

Lynn Chapman, home manager at Bannatyne Lodge Care Home, on Manor Way, said: “We all had a lovely afternoon with a good start to Christmas.

“A big thank you goes to the Dene House Primary School choir for thinking of us and giving an amazing performing at the home.”
